WHEN THEY UNPACK YOUR PRODUCT. PAINT DAMAGE CAN UNDERMINE THEIR CONFIDENCE IN YOUR PRODUCT OR WORSE, IN YOU AS A MANUFACTURER.

Specifying a product finish needs input from all stakeholders in the process. It won’t work if the highest performing coating is specified if manufacturing can’t apply it. Conversely it won’t work to specify a finish based on what is easiest for manufacturing to apply if it doesn’t add value to compete in the marketplace.
